I bought my house back in November of 2009 and since then it's been under going remodeling. At first it was fun, but now I've gotten to the point if tools do not get out of my kitchen and my house soon I'm going to scream! It started in Feb of 2010 when Kenny got a dremel from Lowes, it started with a small hole in the kitchen wall, and then before I knew it walls were coming down and cabinets were being ripped out, and now I have a completely new kitchen with beautiful cabinets and countertops. We did it together, him doing the labor and me supervising since I was pregnant with Austin. Then in the meantime he started building a deck outside then about a two months before Christmas we demolished the living room. That was hell. Now, we are working on the laundry room which took the tools that were stored in there in a cabinet and now they have taken up shop in my kitchen. So now, I can't even move around in there to cook a meal...But, in the long run I know all the hell will be worth it when I see all the hard work thats gone into all the projects completed. The living room and the kitchen look amazing and I know the laundry room will too. It's just the demo and the rebuild that I hate..the finished product I love. haha.

Izzy's Introduction
Hey everyone! I'm new to this blogging scene.
My name is Torey. But, the nickname is Izzy. Growing up Izzie May Meralda was given to me by my grandfather, but my fiance(Kenny) calls me it now except he has shortened it down to Izzy, which I prefer. I'm 22 years old. Some say that I'm sarcastic, hard headed, and stubborn. Well, I'm not going to say they are lying but I will say that if you truly know me, you'll know that I'm easy to get along with, genuine, and a good friend. I'm the type of person that if your my friend I'll always have your back.
I grew up in Chillicothe, Ohio, which isn't anything all that special. But, I call and am proud to say its my hometown. I currently reside in Portsmouth, VA with my family.
My life hasn't always been white picket fences and roses but, I love where my life is at the current moment. I would be nothing if it weren't for my family. They keep me going. I lost my Mom when I was 16, I can't say that it was easy loosing her because it was tough, but I grew from it and even tho I still have days where it's hard to swallow the fact she's gone, I'm doing alright. I have 2 older brothers, whom I'm not that familier with, and 2 younger sisters. Only one of those are from my Mom and that is Nikki, she's 12 and I miss her terribly. She's living in Oklahoma at the current moment, and i'm not sure when I will be seeing her again.
I have three wonderful children, Autumn who is three, she's my clown, Zane is 2, he's my shy one, and Austin is 4 months, he's the baby of the family right now. I have a great fiance he completes my heart and whenever I need him he's always there to pick me up when I'm down. Thank goodness for him he's my rock.
We own our home and it's currently under remodeling, so it's a little chaotic at home, but we are making our home ours. We have 4 dogs, Layla, Cheyenne, Caroline and Dakota. Layla is a pitbull, she's so vicious we let her sleep with Autumn, haha. Cheyenne is a German shepard and she's our watchdog. Caroline and Dakota are the dalmations and they are the entertainment. We also have a rabbit named Midnight, a snake named Checkers which was Autumn's Valentines Day gift from Daddy, and several saltwater fish.
My house is filled with love and I wouldn't have it any other way!
